In a startling incident in Brazil, Gukumatz a Mayan Warrior from the 3rd Century has come back to life and asked the December 21st lobbyists to shut up.
An infuriated Gukumatz said "What do these guys think of themselves? Look at your own calendar? Does your world end every December? Or at the end of every month? Or every Friday? I guess some of you fools do think the world ends on Friday because of the partying and music I hear on Friday. You don't even let me rest in peace. The 21st December 2012 was the end of the cycle dammit, don't you guys understand? So according to us a new cycle begins on the 22nd. Just like you guys have one beginning on the 1st of January, just that ours is longer." He yelled and walked away.
He came back in a few minutes and asked "I like the new iPad - how much does it cost?"
